Wild life in City..?

Wild life in City..?
In our busy schedule after hopping between office and home in this sickening traffic we forget that there is a National Park in Bangalore. When some guests visit us from our home town we suddenly realize that we live just 5 kms away from beautiful Bannerghatta National Park and a good place to visit with them. Though we daily commute on the road which is named after this Park (Bannerghatta Road), it’s ironic that some guests are required to remind us about its existence.
Sometimes back along with our guests I visited Bannerghatta Park.  This zoological park spread across 25000 acres (104.27 km²) is situated in South Bangalore. This Park was established in 1971, then it was out of the Bangalore City, but looking at the rapid growth of Bangalore in all directions, I am sure within few years this park is going to be within city just like Lal-bagh. No wonder if you find some cheetah/tiger roaming on Bangalore streets after few yearsJ.
Whoever visits Bangalore must visit this beautiful park. The forest department here offers safaris covering all enclosures of the park, which takes about an hour and one can enjoy watching Tigers, Lions, Bear, Deer, wild boar etc. There is also a butterfly park spread across 7.5 acres (30,000 m2) of land to visit and watch and study different species of the butterflies.
I clicked some pictures on my visit and hope you like them
